CSN Cement Industrial Academy wins 1st place in the “Human Being Award”

CSN Cement’s Industrial Academy program won 1st place in the Development category of the Human Being Award of the Brazilian HR Association of São Paulo, which recognizes HR professionals and initiatives that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and impact in their organizations.
Created in 1993, the Human Being award has established itself as an important instrument for the recognition of the best initiatives in people management inside and outside organizations, as well as stimulating creative thinking and new talents.
The Industrial Academy aims to develop cement business teams at different levels in terms of efficiency, sustainability and innovation. The program stands out for being an initiative developed entirely with in-house instructors.
To date, the Industrial Academy has covered over 70 virtual topics, involved more than 50 in-house facilitators, over a thousand employees, provided approximately 27,000 hours of training and trained approximately one hundred classes.
Carolina Araújo, People & Management Coordinator, commented on the importance of the Industrial Academy for the company. “The program was born out of the need to develop our teams’ professional skills.
