CSN Group receives exclusive training classes for women and PCDs in Mining and Steel units

In recent weeks, CSN Mineração has received more than 120 new employees through the Capacitar 2021 Program. But the great differential of the initiative is that all positions are exclusively for women and people with disabilities (PCDs), working in the operational and maintenance.

The same happens at CSN Siderurgia, which started a process of 200 vacancies for the exclusive hiring of women and people with disabilities. These professionals will be hired in September and December 2021, in the maintenance, operational and railway areas.

The training of new employees has been done virtually and also through face-to-face meetings, when necessary, with all the health and safety protocols that the moment requires.

The initiative, which is part of a partnership between CSN, Fundação CSN and SENAI, aims to promote and offer access and professionalization conditions that guarantee equal opportunities and value diversity in the labor market.

“We believe that the sustainable process of inclusion happens through education. Valuing and intensifying Capacitar is creating opportunities and, above all, equity for all”, explains Alan Ricieri Gianotti, Diversity and Inclusion manager at Grupo CSN.
