3rd edition of ESG Week takes place at CSN

For the third consecutive year, CSN held one of its most important events: ESG Week. From December 5th to 9th, almost 3,500 people followed online events and lectures with themes that permeate the ESG universe and the Company’s day-to-day.

Our ESG strategy, climate change and its impacts, and the circular economy were some of the topics covered. Also highlighted in this edition was the Citizenship Mentoring Project, conducted in partnership with the CSN Foundation. Addressing issues of social development, the Corporate University was also of great importance – and more specifically the ESG school, a novelty that will allow employees to acquire more knowledge on various related topics. CSN Inova also held an interesting chat about future cities and materials.

ESG Week also had a day entirely dedicated to Compliance – a crucial topic for the entire Group. Like the other forums, Compliance Day featured interesting discussions, including external speakers. To close the event, we had the presentation of the CSN.conecta finalist projects and the launch of the program’s 2023 cycle – which seeks to identify initiatives with ESG actions that could transform the daily life of the CSN Group and the entire industry.

2023 promises to be a year with even more advances and news related to ESG at CSN!
