Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) carries out collective immunization against the H1N1 flu

Vaccination is essential to protect at-risk groups, such as pregnant women, the elderly, and people with chronic diseases, and is recognized as the most effective form of prevention against influenza. Active employees of CSN, CSN Cimentos, Fundação CSN, CBS and EQUIMAQ can get vaccinated between april 1º and 5 at the available stations, which are open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Medical Services Coordinator at CSN Siderurgia, Carlos Gustavo Louzada Medeiros, highlights the importance of collective immunization:

“It strengthens the resistance of the group as a whole, ensuring the simultaneous protection of all workers.”

It will be carried out at stations located in the approval room in the Fox building, in the East and West zones, facilitating access for employees. It is recommended that you present your vaccination card for the process.

It is essential to note that vaccination against H1N1 influenza is contraindicated for people with allergies to egg protein and thimerosal, those with active neurological diseases and individuals who have had Guillain-Barré syndrome.
