• CSN holds fourth Technology Update Seminar at the Presidente Vargas Plant in Volta Redonda

    More than 40 companies will participate in an event that will explore innovations and trends in the steel sector

    On September 10 and 11, CSN Siderurgia will hold its fourth Technology Update Seminar at the Organizational Development Center of the Presidente Vargas Plant in Volta Redonda. The event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., will bring together industry employees and experts to explore the latest technological innovations that are transforming the steel industry.

    During the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures, participate in roundtable discussions, and visit the stands of more than 40 partner companies. In addition, projects developed by CSN that were selected for ABM Week will be presented, highlighting the company’s contribution to technological advancement in the sector.

    Among the confirmed companies are big names such as Primetals and SMS Group, leaders in steel technologies; ThyssenKrupp, a global leader in engineering and technology; and Hatch, a specialist in engineering applied to steelmaking. The event will also feature innovative companies such as GaussFleet, GainTech, UTIS, i.Systems, and Etaure, which, in partnership with CSN Inova, are bringing new solutions to the group. In the technology sector, Rockwell and Siemens, known for their expertise in industrial automation, and White Martins/Linde, a strategic partner in the supply of industrial gases, will also be present.

    The seminar will address key issues for the future of steelmaking, including the decarbonization of production processes, new technologies for steel manufacturing, and the outlook for the sector in the coming years. “This event is an excellent opportunity for our employees to be at the forefront of the technological innovations that are shaping the future of steelmaking.
