Thousands of employees join SipatMa

After two years of being held exclusively online because of the Pandemic, SipatMa returned in 2022 in person at the various units of the CSN Group throughout Brazil. However, the online lectures with external speakers continued to play an important role, ensuring that the message about the CSN Group’s commitment to safety reached all employees uniformly.

At the end of the event, the Sustainability Director, Helena Guerra, highlighted the initiative’s success, which had almost six thousand unique hits throughout the week. The audience record was at the opening of SipatMA: there were 1335 hits. The number becomes more relevant since, in many units, screens were made available in rooms and auditoriums.

“We imagine we had approximately 2000 employees attending each of these lectures, which is very significant. There were lectures on various topics, which talk to the needs brought by the units”, pointed out Helena.

The director praised the work carried out by the entire company to continue improving occupational safety indices. The production and revenue records are accompanied by an increasingly better performance in workplace safety. “We are, this year, below the maximum tolerable limit that we had implemented, a better result than last year, which had already been better in terms of work safety in our history”, highlighted the director. “This is not a job for the security area, but the leadership and for everyone at the forefront. Congratulations to all of you”.
