Transnordestina sustainability project wins award from ANTT

A Transnordestina project was among the top three in the country in the ANTT 2024 Highlights Award in the Environmental Sustainability category. The award, promoted by the National Land Transport Agency, recognizes good practices in the transport sector. The award-winning work deals with the use of technology in the management of environmental inspection data and social communications with the community. Using the Survey123 tool, solutions were developed for use by teams working in the field, eliminating the need for paper forms and optimizing the data entry and analysis process. Spanning three states (Ceará, Piauí, and Pernambuco), Transnordestina faces the challenge of communicating with the community and conducting environmental inspections in the municipalities through which the railroad passes. The award recognized other work by Transnordestina, which won gold in the Construction and Investment Management category and silver in the special award category – Regulatory Highlights.
