• Women transforming the industry: meet Ana Paula

    July 3, 2025

Breaking down barriers and paving the way for other women is what has driven Ana Paula throughout her career at Grupo CSN. She joined the company in 2003 as an administrative assistant and, with determination and competence, became the first woman to hold the position of operational coordinator—in an environment that had previously been dominated by men.

“I faced resistance, fear, and many challenges in the beginning. But little by little, I gained recognition and saw other women following the same path. That fills me with pride.”

Today, as Container Coordinator at Sepetiba TECON, she continues to inspire and train new leaders. For her, inclusion is not just a value: it is a life purpose. “I discovered that my role is to help people develop. Inclusion transforms — and a woman’s place is wherever she wants to be.”

Stories like Ana Paula’s show that achieving the goal of 28% women in the CSN Group by the end of the year is more than possible — it is strategic, necessary, and sustainable. When a woman advances, everyone advances with her.
