Women transforming the industry: meet Antonia

The “Women Transforming Industry” campaign highlights inspiring stories, such as that of Antonia Moraes, Maintenance and Transportation Supervisor at Siderurgia. With 11 years of experience at CSN, she began her journey as a shipping assistant at GAL (Warehouse and Distribution Management), grew to become a Shipper, and later became Shipping Leader. Today, Antonia holds a supervisory position, the result of her commitment and dedication.

“It is gratifying to represent women in an area that has historically been dominated by men. My career shows that, with determination, we can achieve leadership positions and inspire other women to follow this path,” says Antonia.

In recent years, the presence of women in the industry has grown significantly. At CSN, this progress is also evident, and by the end of this year, the Group will achieve its goal of having 28% of women occupying different positions.
