Women transforming the industry: meet Fabiene

At CSN, we believe that diversity is essential for growth and innovation. We are committed to increasing the presence of women at all levels of the company and are proud to be working toward our public goal of having 28% of women in various positions by the end of this year.
To achieve this goal, we have continuously dedicated ourselves to creating opportunities that are transforming the reality of the industry. Today, we see women occupying positions that were previously underrepresented by women, proving that when doors are opened, talent is revealed and developed wherever they wish.
With this purpose in mind, we launched the “Women who transform the industry” campaign, which aims to share the inspiring stories of women who are contributing to the future of CSN. More than celebrating individual achievements, we want to demonstrate that, with the right opportunities, everyone can grow professionally, contributing to a more diverse, inclusive, innovative, and results-oriented environment.
A great example of this is Fabiene, Production Supervisor at CSN Mineração. She began her journey in 2011 as a young apprentice and, over the years, has followed a path of growth and learning in her role.
“I joined the company in 2011 as a junior apprentice. Later, I participated in the Capacitar program (2012). Since then, I have been developing and growing within the company. In April 2022, I was promoted to Production Supervisor, becoming the first woman to hold this position at the Casa de Pedra Mine, managing large-scale operations (GOM).
My greatest achievements were based on my focus on work, the constant pursuit of professional growth, and, above all, respect and care for others.
I am grateful to the company for opening its doors to me. Everything I have achieved professionally to date has been thanks to the opportunities I have been given and my constant pursuit of improvement,” says Fabiene.
