Women transforming the industry: meet Zany

Achieving the goal of 28% women by the end of the year, as we seek to do at the CSN Group, requires targeted actions to train and provide opportunities for women in positions previously occupied mainly by men. Zany symbolizes this movement very intensely. She is the first female train driver trained at Ferrovia Transnordestina Logística and believes she can inspire others to follow the same path.

“The expectation is that I can serve as a role model for new women who aspire to pursue a career as a train driver,” she points out.

Zany recognizes the impact of her presence as the first female train driver on the railroad. However, in line with the company’s ambitions, she aims even higher: “I want to achieve a leadership position within the company. May new opportunities arise and may women occupy positions that were previously held only by men.”
