Actions held by CSN in the context of Covid-19

Covid-19 has spread significantly since March 2020, when the WHO (World Health Organization) declared a world pandemic, a state that has the potential to cause significant operational disruptions, increasing market volatility and affecting global and regional economies. Based on ethical standards of professional conduct and social responsibility, following all the recommendations for the prevention and containment of Covid-19 recommended by the competent health bodies, CSN established a Prompt Response Management Committee (Crisis Committee), responsible for monitoring of the pandemic and its effects on the global economy. The Committees objective is to minimize the effects of Covid-19 on our operations, transactions and financial results, in addition to, in particular, ensuring the health, safety and well-being of employees.
