80 years of CSN are celebrated in a week of online events

On April 9, CSN celebrated its 80th anniversary. And to commemorate this very important date – without leaving aside the necessary care at this time of a pandemic – the company held a week of fully online events.

About 3,000 spectators were able to follow several lives, which had as a highlight the participation of some of the employees who were and are part of this journey. Memories of our past, memorable stories and CSN’s vision for the future excited everyone.

The ESG panel brought relevant discussions on how the circular economy presents itself as an opportunity to generate sustainable business alternatives for CSN Group companies. Still, an interesting debate on the applicability of steel in everyday life showed that this raw material is and will continue to be essential in our society.

But the celebration was twofold: in 2021, the CSN Foundation celebrates its 60th anniversary. Therefore, some of the lives were conducted by the Foundation, and brought the excellent results of its education and culture projects, in addition to a musical presentation and artistic exhibitions.
